Health (Afya Bora Initiative)

Health (Afya Bora Initiative)

This program is designed to offer medical and nutrition support to infants and people living with HIV & AIDS and other diseases. Under this program, RAIDL in partnership with other stakeholders shall offer treatment and Psycho social support to areas and communities affected.

There shall also be implemented a programme on sexual reproductive health and peer education activities in schools and communities to keep youth teenagers fully informed, involved and engaged directly.

The programme shall be designed in a manner that involves all stakeholders from the community, religious affiliations, schools, government administration, Legislature and security teams to jointly come up with a better model of implementing and promoting/adopting the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) programmes.

RAIDL is dedicated to promoting social welfare, health and education globally, with a focus on addressing pressing issues such as drug and substance abuse that negatively impact communities and individuals. We shall actively be involved in various projects and campaigns that promote awareness, prevention, and rehabilitation in collaboration with governments and other stakeholders.

The alarming rise in drug and substance abuse cases, especially among the youth in Kenya, is a matter of grave concern that requires concerted efforts and innovative strategies to tackle effectively.
