Dr. Umaru Ishara Tanimu, PhD – Board Member of Regional Agency for International Development and Leadership – RAIDL. Dr. Umaru Ishara Tanimu is a renowned public speaker, orator, teacher, political analyst, African history specialist, community development expert, leadership coach, and farmer. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees in Transformational Development Studies and Public Policy.

He has held various positions, including Dean at AIUWA, Rector at EITS, president/CEO of the Zinta Institute for Peace and Sustainable Development, SeniorLecturer at Euclid University, and Senior Lecturer at the University of The Gambia. Dr. Tanimu is an experienced educationist and communicator with over 25 years of experience in leadership training, education, and agriculture. Passionate about developing African minds, he has contributed to curriculum development in Nigeria, Cameroon, and The Gambia. As a trained farmer and leadership coach, he has raised credible leaders and respectable young Africans.

He is a life member of the Farm Management Association of Nigeria (faman), Kaduna State Chapter. He holds a doctorate in Transformational Development Studies from IUB, a master's in Public Policy, Education, and Strategic Leadership from IUB, a master's in Missiological Studies from ECWA Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts in Christian theology, and a Bachelor of Laws from International Open University.

His skills include leadership, mentoring, international consulting, facilitation, teaching, research, education advocacy, community development strategist, and involvement in non-profit organizations and NGOs. He's passionate about Africa's migration, rural sociology, agriculture, education, gender equality, human dignity, social justice, women's empowerment, and global improvement through quality education and strategic leadership.
