Wamoyi M. Marciella

Wamoyi M. Marciella – Board Member of Regional Agency for International Development and Leadership – RAIDL. Wamoyi has local and international exposure in communication and business spheres with over 15 years of experience in the Media sector. She holds a master’s in communication Science – Business Communication from UNPAD, Indonesia. Bachelor of Business Management – Finance & Banking from Moi University, Public Relations Certificate from the University of Nairobi, International Certificate in Broadcast Journalism - Social Conflict and Cohesion from the Netherland’sTraining Centre, RNTC, Holland and postgraduate diploma in electronic journalism from Media Network Training Centre among others.

On matters of leadership, Wamoyi holds an international online certificate on value-centred leadership from De Paul University, Chicago. She developed an investor’s booklet adopted by KASIB- Kenya Association of Stock Brokers and Investment Banks to help simplify jargon used at the bourse for Swahili audiences/clients.

She has consulted for Transparency International, Kenya and Women Enterprise Fund among others on appropriate radio programme production. In 2012 and 2013 she was awarded by KEMEP &UNFPA and the Media Council of Kenya. Wamoyi is a rapporteur, mentor and trainer. She is currently a guest lecturer at Rongo University and Technical University of Mombasa. She is the current Head of Radio Current Affairs and Business at KBC and freelances for Africanquarters.com.
